Tube Vibrating Conveyor

A tube vibrating conveyor is also called a tube vibrating feeder, which conveys powder and particles horizontally at a controlled rate in an open or closed environment. The low-speed conveying action is gentle and quiet, with no moving parts in contact with the powder, causing little or no product degradation.

Tubular vibrating conveyors can be up to 20 feet (6 meters) in length and can be connected in series to achieve a total length of up to 100 feet (30 meters). They can be driven by electric motors or electromagnetic vibrators and are typically used in conjunction with equipment such as vibrating screens, belt conveyors, and bucket elevators to enable automatic batching, quantitative packaging, and automated control processes, thereby achieving production line automation.

JR Tube Vibrating Conveyor

Tube Vibrating Conveyors are designed for the seamless and dust-tight transportation of bulk materials. Utilizing high-frequency vibration motors, these conveyors move powders, pellets, and granular materials through a sealed cylindrical tube.

This design is particularly effective for industries where environmental hygiene and material purity are critical, such as chemical processing, food production, and mining.

Working principle

The system operates on the principle of directional vibration. Two counter-rotating vibration motors generate a linear force that causes the material to “micro-hop” forward within the tube. The frequency and amplitude can be adjusted via a VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) to control the flow rate precisely.

parts

The ZDS-type vibrating feeder is a linear vibrating inertial conveying device. Its basic structure and components are shown in the attached drawing. It primarily consists of a power unit—two vibrating motors or exciters of the same model and specifications; a vibrating body —a feed trough; a vibration isolation device —a set of isolation springs; a support base —a steel structure frame or other prefabricated platform; and related accessories.

Features

  • 100% Enclosed & Dust-Proof
    • The tubular structure provides a completely sealed environment, preventing dust leakage and protecting sensitive materials from external contamination.
  • Low Maintenance & High Durability
    • With no internal moving parts (like belts or screws), the tube vibrating conveyor experiences minimal wear and tear. This translates to lower downtime and long-term cost savings for your production line.
  • Flexible Installation
    • The equipment can be floor-mounted or suspended from ceilings, making it adaptable to complex factory layouts with limited space.

FAQs

Unlike screw conveyors, Jiarui tube vibrating conveyors have no internal rotating auger, which eliminates mechanical wear and reduces maintenance. This design minimizes material degradation, making it ideal for fragile, abrasive, or heat-sensitive materials. It also improves energy efficiency and long-term operating stability.

Yes. The conveying speed can be easily adjusted using a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), which controls the vibration frequency. This allows precise regulation of material flow to match downstream equipment such as packaging or processing lines.

A single unit can typically convey materials over distances of 12–15 meters. For longer conveying systems, multiple units can be arranged in series to achieve continuous transport across larger production facilities.

Yes. Jiarui vibrating conveyors can be manufactured with heat-resistant materials and special alloys, allowing safe conveying of materials up to 250°C. They are widely used in foundries, chemical plants, and high-temperature discharge applications.

Yes. Food-grade configurations are available, including full stainless steel construction, seamless internal welding, and quick-release clamps. These features ensure easy cleaning, sterilization, and compliance with hygiene and sanitary standards.

No special foundation is required. Thanks to its balanced vibration design and damping system, the equipment generates minimal ground vibration and can be installed directly on standard factory floors or suspended from steel structures.
