Key parameters include maximum feed size (≤150 mm or ≤200 mm), material moisture content, bulk density, and target separation sizes. These factors determine the optimal screen area (m²), number of decks, and mesh specifications.

The YK circular vibrating screen adopts an external block-eccentric exciter instead of a traditional shaft-eccentric design. This configuration provides stronger and adjustable excitation force, simplifies maintenance, and effectively isolates mechanical stress, reducing the risk of side plate fatigue.

The motor is connected to the exciter via a universal joint or flexible rubber coupling. This design isolates the motor from high-frequency vibrations generated by the screen box, preventing dynamic loads from damaging motor bearings and improving overall equipment reliability.

Screening capacity is influenced by multiple operational parameters, including screen width, inclination angle (15°–30°), vibration amplitude (6–14 mm), and rotation speed (760–980 r/min). Additionally, material characteristics such as shape and moisture content affect throughput. The YK series offers capacities ranging from 75 t/h to 960 t/h.

For highly abrasive materials such as granite or iron ore, high-manganese steel woven mesh or modular polyurethane (PU) panels are recommended. For sticky or wet materials, anti-clogging rubber or flexible screen media should be used to prevent blinding and ensure consistent screening efficiency.

Routine maintenance includes regular lubrication of exciter bearings to prevent overheating and wear. Operators should also inspect screen panel tension, check damping springs for fatigue, and ensure all structural bolts are securely tightened to maintain stable operation.
