Product Overview

The GLS series probability screen uses a multi-layer, large-inclination screen surface combined with high-frequency vibration to achieve efficient particle separation.

Unlike conventional vibrating screens, the probability screen applies a probability-based screening mechanism, where materials have multiple opportunities to pass through the mesh. This significantly improves screening efficiency, especially for fine and medium particle sizes.

It is widely used in:

  • Mining and mineral processing
  • Sand and aggregate production
  • Coal preparation plants
  • Chemical and building materials industries

Working Principle of Probability Screen

The probability screen operates based on probability screening theory, utilizing multiple screen decks arranged at steep angles.

Key Mechanism:

  • Material is fed evenly onto the top screen layer
  • High-frequency vibration disperses particles quickly
  • Large inclination angle (30°–60°) accelerates material flow
  • Multi-layer mesh increases screening opportunities
  • Fine particles pass through early, coarse particles move downward

This design ensures:

  • Faster material stratification
  • Reduced material clogging
  • Higher screening accuracy

GLS Series Probability Screen – FAQ

The GLS probability screen uses multi-layer decks with steep angles (5°–30°) and much larger mesh openings (2–10× the target size). Instead of relying on mesh restriction, it separates particles based on probability and high-speed stratification, reducing clogging and improving efficiency.

Yes. The deck angle can be adjusted between 5° and 30°. This allows operators to control material flow speed and optimize the balance between capacity and screening accuracy.

The decks use wear-resistant stainless steel woven mesh such as SUS304 or SUS316. The steep design reduces material impact, extending service life even in abrasive applications like ore or sand screening.

The larger mesh openings allow near-size particles to pass freely, avoiding blockage. In addition, dual vibration motors generate high-frequency linear motion, keeping the material fluidized and preventing sticky fines from adhering to the mesh.

The GLS series uses external dual vibration motors that require only routine bearing lubrication. Since they are externally mounted, inspection and replacement are simple without dismantling the screen body, reducing downtime.

The screen body is supported by high-elasticity springs or rubber shock absorbers, which reduce vibration transmission by more than 90%, protecting the supporting structure and foundation.
