Introduction

The 450 stainless steel vibrating filter screen refers to a single-layer filtering and screening equipment with 450mm diameter, which is usually used to filter, screen, or separate solid particles or liquid substances. It is suitable for the screening range of 0.038 to 3 mm. The equipment has the advantages of low noise, high efficiency, small size, and easy to move, and is an ideal small screening and filtering equipment. According to different needs, the machine body can be made of 304/316 all-stainless steel, or a combination of stainless steel and carbon steel (the base is carbon steel, which is more economical).

Working Principle of 450 Vibrating Filter Screen

The 450 Series Vibrating Filter is a compact, high-efficiency centrifugal sifter designed for liquid filtration and powder grading. Its operation is centered on the conversion of mechanical energy into a specialized multi-dimensional vibration.

1. The Power Source: Vertical Vibration Motor

At the heart of the machine is a high-speed Vertical Vibration Motor. The motor is equipped with Eccentric Weights (unbalanced hammers) installed at both the top and bottom of the motor shaft.

2. Multi-Dimensional Motion Control

As the motor rotates, the centrifugal force generated by the eccentric weights creates a 3D Motion—a combination of horizontal, vertical, and inclined movements.

  • Horizontal Action: Moves the material from the center of the mesh toward the periphery.
  • Vertical Action: Throws the material upward to prevent the mesh from clogging (blinding).

3. The Filtration Process

  1. Feeding: The slurry or powder is fed onto the center of the mesh.
  2. Screening: The 3,000-RPM high-frequency vibration breaks the surface tension of liquids, forcing the “undersized” material through the mesh.
  3. Discharge: Particles larger than the mesh size (impurities) are spiraled outward and ejected through the Upper Discharge Outlet, while the filtered liquid flows out through the Lower Outlet.
